LaVerne Tyler, 77, of Lincolnton, North Carolina, formerly of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, February 11, 2007. Mrs. Tyler was born July 13, 1929, in Neelyville, Missouri. On November 18, 1947, she married Zanuell H. Tyler in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1992. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Shelya White of Arlington, Virginia; three sons, Clifton Tyler of Donever, North Carolina, Marion Tyler of Statesville, North Carolina, And Darion Tyler of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visistation will be Sunday, February 18, at 1:00 P.M. at Edwards Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the fuenral home chapel. Burial will follow at Centerhill Cemetery on JJ Highway in Doniphan with Brother Wayne Prater offication.
