Charles Wayne Haywood
Charles Wayne Haywood, 56, of Doniphan, died Monday, February 5, 2007, at the John J. Pershing Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Haywood was born July 13, 1951, in Granite City, Illinois. He worked as a telephone installer. He served in the U.S. Marines from October 24, 1976, to March 14, 1979. Mr. Haywood was a member of the International Brotherhood Electrical Workers and the American Legion Post 87. Mr. Haywood enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
In July, 1977, he married Carol Leroux. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifier Ladyman of Ellsinore, Missouri and Carol McGee of Fort Benning, Georgia; one son, Chad Haywood of Doniphan; and his mother, Betty Janes, also of Doniphan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Hadley Haywood and one brother, Landy Haywood.
Visitation will be held at the family home on Wednesday evening beginning at 3:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with Brother Hubert Payne officiating.
