Ramona Brown
Ramona Ponder Brown, 73, of Doniphan, formerly of St. Anne, died Monday, February 5, 2007, at Current River Nursing Home in Doniphan.
Ms. Brown was born March 4, 1933, in Doniphan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Doniphan and was a retired transportation director for Pennzoil Corporation in St. Louis.
Survivors include one son, Michael Brown of Heber Springs, Ark.; one daughter, Megan Martin of Columbia; one brother, Larry Ponder of Doniphan; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Kevin; her parents, Leonard and Hazel Keel Ponder; two brothers, Paul and Jerry Ponder; and one sister, Elaine Halcomb.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be at Amity Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
