Juanita Thompson, 63, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Ms. Thompson was born October 3, 1947, in Jackson County, Illinois, to Paul Houston Charles and Rachel Beatrice (McCracken) Batson. She was a housewife and was a member of the West Point Pentecostal Church. Ms. Thompson loved her dogs.
Surviving are four sisters; Shirley Miller and Margaret Edwards both of Granite City, Illinois, Marie Townsend of Grandin, Missouri, and Virginia Hozran of Jacksonville, Illinois; three brothers, Paul Batson of Granite City, Illinois, Donald Batson and Daniel Batson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David Batson and Forest Ray Batson.
A graveside service will take place Thursday afternoon, December 9, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Grandin City Cemetery in Grandin, Missouri.
