Sarah Leann Abbott Edmonds, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Thursday, December 2, 2010, at the Westwood Hills Health Care in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Edmonds, daughter of the late George and Margaret (Keys) Abbott, was born August 12, 1926, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She was a licensed beautician and had been a cashier at Auto Home.
She is survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Mrs. Edmonds was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edmonds, her father and mother, and siblings, John Abbott, Carmi Abbott, Roxie Abbott, Peggy Loman, Ted Abbott, Etta Guenter, James Abbott and Robert Abbott.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, December 9, 2010, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow Friday morning, December 10, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Arellano officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabeth Cemetery.
