Shawn Michelle Davis, 37, life-long resident of Gatewood, Missouri, died Monday, June 27, 2011, in Ripley County, Missouri.
Mrs. Davis, daughter of Henry and Debbra (Hicks) Brown, was born January 10, 1974, in Doniphan, Missouri. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the New Home Church and enjoyed flowers.
On October 11, 2000, she was married to Ray Davis at Gatewood. He survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Henry and Debbra Brown; three children, James Riley Blackwell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Jessica Danielle Blackwell and Trenton Anthony Pfeffer, both of Gatewood; paternal grandmother, Wally Hicks of Bono, Arkansas; one sister, Elizabeth Rutledge of Doniphan; and two brothers, Henry Gale Brown of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Jason Brown of Gatewood.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles Hicks, and paternal grandparents, Henry and Nora Brown.
Visitation for Mrs. Davis will begin at noon Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Private burial services are planned at a later date at Dalton Cemetery.
