Rosemary Wright, 71, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, at her residence. Mrs. Wright, daughter of Fred and Bertha (Newton) Colburn, was born November 20, 1938, in Neelyville, Missouri. She was employed with the Special Road District office and was a life-time member of the Doniphan V.F.W. Post #3485. She was married to Thomas K. Dukeman in St. Louis, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1965. On December 27, 1971, she married John P. Wright at Oxly, Missouri, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Epperson and husband, Brian, of Doniphan and Rosemary Smith of Junction City, Kansas; three sons, Thomas (Tom) Dukeman and wife, Susan, of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Fredrick (Fred) Dukeman and wife, Tina, of Bloomsdale, Missouri, and Robert (Bobby) Dukeman of Doniphan; one sister, Bonnie Lindley of Glen Allen, Missouri; two brothers, Samuel Colburn and wife, Carolyn, of Middletown, Ohio, and William Colburn of Bloomsdale, Missouri; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bertha (Newton) Colburn, one son, Joseph William (Joey) Dukeman, and two sisters, Capitola Whitehall and Betty Jo Sipes. Visitation will be Thursday evening, November 11, 2010, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Friday morning, November 12, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Harold Sheppard officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
