Obituary of Judy Hudson

Judy Fay Hudson, 61, of Gatewood, Missouri, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mrs. Hudson, daughter of J. R. and Dorothy (Williams) Bruce, was born October 20, 1949, in Marston, Missouri. She was a clerk at Fred's of Doniphan. Mrs. Hudson was a member of Lingo Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. On October 5, 1968, she was married to Duke Hudson at Doniphan, Missouri. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Diana Wadkins and husband, Nathan, and Darla Pender and husband, David, both of Gatewood; her father, J. R. Bruce of Princeton, Kentucky; two brothers, Joe Bruce and his wife, Yvonne, of Weston, Florida, and Jerry Bruce and his wife, Shortie, of Qulin, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Joyce Bruce of Malden, Missouri; two grandchildren, Sierra Wadkins and Cheyenne Wadkins, both of Gatewood; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy (Williams) Bruce, and one brother, Johnnie Bruce. Visitation will be Friday evening, November 5, 2010, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Jim Cornman and Leonard Hart officiating. Burial will be in the Ponder Cemetery.
