Billy Parker, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Monday, October 25, 2010, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Parker, son of Thomas and Thelma (Duckworth) Parker, was born February 21, 1934, in Thebes, Illinois. He was self-employed as a roofing contractor and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are three brothers; Ed Parker of Santa Ana, California, Frank Parker of Chesterfield, Missouri, and Glenn Parker of Doniphan; two sisters, Betty Pullen of Arnold, Missouri, and Dorothy Jett of Doniphan; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Thelma (Duckworth) Parker.
Visitation will begin Saturday morning, October 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Doniphan.
