Billy Charles Martin, 68, of Doniphan, died Thursday October 14, 2010, at Cloud 9 Ranch in Caulfield.
Mr. Martin was born on July 24, 1942 to the late Bill & Opal (Samples) Martin in Gibson, MO. Mr. Martin was a Machinist for a welding equipment manufacture.
On March 5, 1960, he married Mary Ann Bantle in St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death on June 3, 1995. He is survived by his long time companion Georgia.
Also surviving are one daughter Tammy Lea (Bill) Webb of Doniphan; two sons Steven Charles (Theresa) Martin of Doniphan & Craig Anthony Martin of St. Louis; One step-son Ronnie Winberry of Doniphan; Six brothers Jimmy Martin and Ronnie Martin both of Flint MI, Cletis Davis of Cape Girardeau, Ronnie Davis of Van Buren, Wayne Barnes of Dexter, and Jim Cavaness of Poplar Bluff. Four grandchildren Jennifer (Billy) Sheridan, Ashley Martin, Lindsey Martin, & Grace Martin; Three step-grandchildren Heather, Teresa, & Amanda; Two great-grandchildren Hayden & Will; Five step-great-grandchildren, Trenton, Tanner, Trever, Brianna & Skyler; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Tina Marie Martin, one step-son Billy Winberry, one sister Beverly Martin.
Visitation will begin Sunday October 17 at noon at Edwards Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday October 17, 2010, at the Edwards Funeral Home at 2 PM with burial following at Doniphan City Cemetery.
