Obituary of Paul Inman

Paul Francis Inman, 91 year old resident of Doniphan, MO died October 13 2010. Mr. Inman was born July 10, 1919 in Butler County, Missouri to the late James & Mattie (Whiffen) Inman. He was had previously served in the US Navy and served in World War II. He was a land developer and homebuilder, some of his projects being RanChaRa, Lingo Land & Bluff Estates Shopping Center. Mr. Inman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Doniphan, Doniphan Lion's Club, Poplar Bluff Kiwanis Club, AmVets, Doniphan VFW Post # 3485 & the Jaycee's. On May 7, 1947, at Poplar Bluff, MO, Mr. Inman was married to Betty Lou Snider. She preceded him in death December 1, 1994. He then married Billie Young Inman on November 30, 1997 in Brookhaven, MS, she survives. Surviving are two sons Steve & wife Judy Inman of Doniphan and Rick & wife Karen Inman of Pocahontas, AR. Two step-children Jim Young wife Angela of Brookhaven, MS and Pam Jackson and husband Willie of San Padre Island, TX. Five grandchildren Jeff (Stephine) Inman, Diana Inman, Leslie (Tom) Savage, Ericka Inman, Adriane Inman and three great-grandchildren Janaye Savage, Matthew Savage, & Caleb Ricker. Four step-grandchildren Josh Jackson, Catie Oaks (George), Weston Young (Emily), and Timothy Young. Mr. Inman was preceded in death by his parents & siblings Ruth Bell Inman, Clyde Inman, Alfred Inman, Herman Inman, Loretta Mabury, Bill Inman, Imogene Knapp. Visitation will begin at Edwards Funeral Home Sunday Oct 17 from 5-8. Funeral services for Mr. Inman will be held, Monday 1 PM October 18, 2010 at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jared Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Doniphan.
