Tennie Faye Goerling, nee Holland, 71, died peacefully in her home on Monday, June 20, 2011.
Faye is survived by her cherished brother, Carl (Janis) Holland of Sutherlin, Oregon; devoted aunt to nephew Randy (Allison) Holland of Safety Harbor, Florida; and niece Karla (Gordon) Dage of Sutherlin, Oregon; and proud great aunt to Kyle and Kelsey Dage of Sutherlin, Oregon.
Faye was the loving daughter of the late Robert and Marie Holland of Gatewood, Missouri. She was the beloved wife of the late Helmut Goerling. All of Helmut's family remained faithful to Faye until the very end. Faye was blessed with her loyal family, friends and neighbors who supported her as she fought cancer for 8.5 years.
Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, June 25th, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home of Doniphan, Missouri. Funeral Services will be Sunday afternoon, June 26th, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
