Mary Rosanna "Rosie" Martin Mary Rosanna "Rosie" Martin was born June 13, 1943 in New Madrid to the late Charles W. "Slick" and Alice K. Cravens Grossman. Rosie was married to Charles Louis "Goob' Martin on April 12, 1959 in Circle City, Mo. "Goob" preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2001. "Rosie" enjoyed working with her computer, reading, traveling, working in the yard and gardening. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Beth Sigma Phi, and the Red Hat Society. She was a homemaker and loved, and enjoyed her family. She is survived by three daughters; Rhonda and husband Bruce Roberson of Searcy, Arkansas; Lisa and husband Hayden Dawson and Angela and husband Michael Allgier both of New Madrid. She was fondly known by her grandchildren and great granddaughters as MeMe and is survived by seven grandchildren Stephanie Jackson, Gregory "Buddy" Jackson, Hayden Kevin Dawson Jr., Hannah Leigh Dawson, William Louis Brister, Andrews Martin Brister and Rose Marie Allgier and one great Granddaughter Tatumn Rose Stogsdill. Two brothers Charles W. "Slick" Grossman Jr. and Martin Grossman; one sister Charlotte Marie Chaney and one great grandson Cole Martin Louis preceded "Rosie" in death. Visitation in today Aug 13 at the First United Methodist Church in New Madrid form 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday Aug. 14 with Rev. Jeff Long officiating and Judy Blankenship delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston, Mo.
