Linda Lois Ausmus, 63, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at her residence.
Ms. Ausmus, daughter of the late Wallace and Louise (Stewart) Jessup, was born December 3, 1946, in Watsonville, California. She had been a factory worker and was a housewife. Ms. Ausmus was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Naylor American Legion and she enjoyed pow-wows, music, crocheting and her grandchildren.
She is survived by two children - one son, Melvin Ausmus, and his wife, Bridget, and one daughter, Shelly Furford, both of Doniphan; one sister, Pearlena Broyles Burt of Watsonville, California; two brothers, Chester Broyles of Bakersfield, California, and Harold Broyles Watsonville, California; four grandchildren, Shawna Gamblin, Maleena Furford-Sipes Dylan Ausmus and Whitney Ausmus; and two great-grandchildren, Derrick Chambers and "Bug"Cheyenne Chambers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Broyles.
Private memorial services are being planned.
