Maxine Knickerbocker, 95, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
Mrs. Knickerbocker, daughter of John and Essie (Wilson) Schuck, was born May 9, 1916, in Peru, Indiana. A homemaker, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles and being with people. Mrs. Knickerbocker attended First Church of God in Doniphan.
Her first husband, Basil Petty died in 1981 and she was later married to Oliver Knickerbocker who also preceded her in death.
Surviving are three children; Grace (and Larry) Bashaw of Doniphan, Margaret Fisher of Losantville, Indiana, and Basille Blaesing of Davenport, Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouses, one brother and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
