Elonzo Alfred "Sonny" Gregory, 71-year-old resident of Gatewood, Missouri, died Friday, June 4, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Gregory was born July 21, 1938, in Warm Springs, Arkansas, to the late Alonzo A. and Lennie (Morris) Gregory.
Mr. Gregory was a retired truck driver hauling concrete pipes and, while retired, enjoyed working cattle on the family farm. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Mr. Gregory served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Gregory was married to Patricia Murphey on August 12, 1961, at the Randolph County Courthouse in Pocahontas, Arkansas, and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Charlotte Gregory, of Wentzville, Missouri; one sister, Norma Bursick, of California; and one brother, Max Gregory, of California.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gregory was also preceded in death by three sisters, Kathleen Agular, Nadine Showers, and Glenna Davidson.
Visitation will be Monday, June 7, 2010, starting at noon with the funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. All services will be at Edwards Funeral Home.
