I am sorry for your loss. My Dad, Lanson Phillips, considered Ed a great businessman and a great person. They were in competition with one another for many years and were both the better for that. If he were still here he'd want to express his sorrow to Ed's family. I did not know him closely but I knew him through my Dad and he always had good things to say about him. He admired Ed and how hard he worked.
We such fond memories of visiting with Ed and Veta before and after our move to Jonesboro. They were, and always will be, such an inspiration to us. There love and committment to the Lord, and to each other, was so obvious.
