Clarence Edward McCallister, 89, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, 2010, at The Colonial Home in Doniphan.
Mr. McCallister was born July 26, 1920, in Weingarten, Missouri, to the late Henry Z. and Josephine (Vaughn) McCallister, and lived most of his adult life in Ripley County. He worked in various positions in the timber industry. Mr. McCallister enjoyed his puzzles, hunting, and gardening.
He is survived by one sister, Christine Gambling, of Doniphan.
Mr. McCallister was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Florence Ellen Hall, and one brother, Lawerence McCallister.
Visitation will be Monday, May 3, 2010, from noon till 2 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The graveside service will be 2 p.m. at Pine Cemetery in Pine MO.
