Obituary of Ruby Roy

Ruby Kathleen Roy, 72, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, April 19, 2010, at Poplar Bluff Regional Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Roy, daughter of the late Robert and Nancy (Glidwell) Neal, was born January 12, 1938, in Concord, Missouri. She was a long-time resident of Ripley County. Mrs. Roy retired as a factory worker from Vitronic and she enjoyed cooking, plants, taking care of family and doing crafts with friends.
On April 18, 1956, she was married to Jesse Roy at Malden, Missouri. He survives.
Also surviving are two children, Jesse Roy, Jr. and Becky March, both of Doniphan; one grand-daughter, Seneatha Clayton, of Doniphan; three sisters, Imogene Wheeler of Celina, Ohio, Mary Starnes of Malden and Sue Ross of Portageville, Missouri; and one brother, J.R. Neal of Doniphan.
Mrs. Roy was preceded in death by her parents, two children, James Steven and Judith Ann and two brothers, William "Bud" Neal and Joe Edward Neal.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, April 21, 2010, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will start at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, April 22, 2010, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Keith Garland officiating. Burial will follow in the Belleview Cemetery.
