William Lloyd Reeves, 92, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, March 22, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Reeves, son of Walter Chester and Ruth Mae (Bible) Reeves, was born July 10, 1917, in Grandin, Missouri. He was a self-employed farmer. Mr. Reeves attended West Doniphan Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed all aspect of horses. On February 19, 1938, he was married to Lottie Roam in Grandin and she survives. Also surviving are five children; Barbara (and Edward) Radcliff of Madison, Illinois, Ora Mae Freeze of Grandin, Jan (and Randy) Spencer of Doniphan, Nancy (and Eddie) McKinney of Gatewood and Jerry (and Kathy) Reeves of Gatewood; ten grandchildren, Cathy Werner, Cindy Miller, Connie Richardson, Jennifer Gargac, Katie Cobb, Dustin Reeves, Brandy Franke, Mandy Rawlings, Shawn Reeves and Frankie Moman; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; one sister, Pearl Lowe of Grandin; and two brothers, Ezra Tipton of Greenville, Missouri, and Lynn Tipton of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, one child, Lloyd Leo Reeves, one grandchild, Brodie Gargac, one sister, Ruby Hamilton, and two brothers, Bill Tipton and Art Tipton. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, March 24, 2010, from 5- 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Thursday morning, March 25, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Scott Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandin Cemetery.
