Evelyn "Diane" Mast, 63, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Mrs. Mast was born November 15, 1946, in Vallejo, California. She was employed in mortgage banking prior to retirement. Mrs. Mast was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, serving as communications director and participated in the Lutheran Mission Partnership of Southeast Missouri. She enjoyed collecting stamps, dolls and teapots.
On June 8, 1985, she was married to Christian H. Mast in Lakewood, Colorado. He survives.
Also surviving are two step-sons, Michael C. (and Angela) Mast of Falcon, Colorado, and Brian S. Mast of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Janice Keith of Phoenix, Arizona, and Sandra McCart of Haymarket, Virginia; one step-sister, Carol Ann of Vallejo, California; one step-brother, Jack Bush of Cedar Ridge, Colorado; and two grandchildren, C.J. Mast and Maddie Mast, both of Falcon, Colorado.
Mrs. Mast was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruth Irene (Davis) Layne.
Visitation will begin Monday, March 15, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Tim Matthew officiating. Mrs. Mast will be laid to rest in the Fort Logan Veterans Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
