Mary P. Ruger, age 83, of Altha, Florida, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at her residence in Altha.
Mrs. Ruger, daughter of the late Bratt and Allie (Cooper) Porter, was born November 24, 1926, in Port St. Joe, Florida, and had lived in Calhoun County for the past two years. She was a retired nursing assistant and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Blountstown.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Behr of Waldo, Wisconsin, and a brother, J.B. Porter of Blountstown.
Visitation for Mrs. Ruger will be Friday morning, March 12, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Doniphan.
