Mary Charlotte Parkin, 88, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Parkin was born September 9, 1921, in Denver, Colorado, to John Fred and Martha (Genaehlich) Mackelberg. She had been a machinist at Porcelain Grinding and was a Jehovah's Witness.
She is survived by three grandchildren; William Douglas Parkin of Fairdealing, Frances O'Neal of Doniphan, Missouri, and Wesley Parkin, Jr. of Milton, Kentucky; four great-grandchildren, Ethan O'Neal of Doniphan, and Brendon Parkin, Libby Parkin and Coty Parkin, all of Milton, Kentucky; and one daughter-in-law, Helen Parkin of Fairdealing.
Mrs. Parkin was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one son, Wesley Parkin, Sr.
There will be no public service.
