God has called home a great man, husband, father and grandfather to Heaven, where he can watch over us. Jimmy Clyde (Jim) Miller, 70, of Doniphan, Missouri, was born on December 22, 1939, in Pine, Missouri, and departed this life on February 13, 2010. He was born and raised in the Pine/Bardley area where he was partners in Miller's Sawmill and owner of Miller's Lazy J Foxpen where he lived with his family. He enjoyed coyote hunting, deer hunting, running his dogs and the old family farm. On April 4, 1964, he was united in marriage with Wanda Dale Miller who preceded him in death on July 18, 1996. He was united in marriage with Sylvia Faulkner on June 25, 1998, in Corning, Arkansas, and she survives. Also surviving are five children; Trudi (Oscar) Roberson of Gatewood, Gary (Kim) Crockett and Brenda Kirby, both of Doniphan, Missouri, Jim (Debbie) Bridgeforth of Winona, Missouri, Tom (Linda) Bridgeforth of Chicago, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; Whitney Roberson, Jimmy (Melissa) Roberson, Rhonda (Craig) Combs, Sara Bridgeforth, Joey Bridgeforth, J.D. (Whitney) Bridgeforth, Amanda Crockett, Daryl (Staci) Kirby, Melissa Hamilton, Chris Bridgeforth, Michael Bridgeforth and Andrew Bridgeforth; ten great-grandchildren, Hannah Gordon, Haylea Roberson, Tyler Roberson, Chloe Combs, Emma Combs, Gabe Bridgeforth, Mercedes Gowen, Aaron Kirby, Marley Kirby and Elliott Crockett Verkuilen; one brother, Don L. Miller of Doniphan; two sisters, Imogene Pyland of Ozark, Missouri, and Arlene Terry of Waynesboro, Tennessee. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends and loved ones. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, Glen (Buster) and Glea Miller; one brother, Bobby Miller and two sisters, Glenna Miller and Marie Wismack. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, February 16, 2010, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Danny Miller officiating. Burial will be in Pine Cemetery.
