We busted a gut. we will miss you at deer camp this year, you were always a big help for Jim and I and always had your car packed with food for the week. Maybe this year I will get my first deer but not as great as you being there to see you smile and words of encouragement. Life will never be the same without you but the Good Lord needed you more and he has a plan for all of us. So enjoy your rewards of being such a loving compasioate soul and continue to pray for all of us who are still struggling with your great loss. We will continue to pray for your soul. I love you and am so sorry that you are gone. I feel there is a large piece of my heart missing but I am working on it day by day. You meant the world to us which I am sure you new. May God bless you and all of us left behind and let some good come out of this by doing as you did helping others, going to mass weekly and having a strong faith in God the Almighty. Love LJAM

Raymond we miss you more than you could ever phathom. Our hearts are heavy and not a day goes by that we dont think about you. Your smile/grin, sparkle in your eyes, happy, doing anything asked of you. Your compasion for life, love and music, My favorite memory was when we were much younger still in high school and I bet you I could write more cuss words in the dirt at grandma perren house in the dry dirt in her front yard with a stick. we made a line real long and I was in the lead then to our surprise mom came out to ask what we were doing and we began dragging our feet as fast as we could to erase these bad words but mom caught us and put breeze soap powder in our mouth and it was auful and we never tried that game again. when you pretend to be a mermaid during a game and nailed it by lying on the floor and blinking/batting your big brown eyes.

On behalf of the Perren family, I would like to thank everyone for their time, thoughts, and prayers at this very dificult time. Our family wanted to focus on celebrating Ray's life, and you all helped us to do that in such a beautiful way, especially at the visitation, mass, and graveside service. Raymond was a beautiful soul with a heart-of-gold, and a lot of god-given talents. We know that he is smiling, doing good deeds, singing, playing music, and praying for us in heaven now. As the priest said in the church service, "Ray loved much and was loved much." I know that Ray was happy to see the way that his very large family came together, pitched in, and supported each other. We all truly appreciate the support of the even larger family of church, work, school, friends and aquaintances of Ray and his immediate and extended families. Ray died on one day, but he lived many other days in a way that touched our hearts. He is not "gone" to us, he has just moved to a new location -a heavenly mansion with streets of gold. We love you, Ray.
