Ray R. Davis
Ray H. Davis, 84, of Briar, Missouri, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis.
Mr. Davis was born September 26, 1922, in Albridge, Tennessee. He was a self-employed professional caterer. He attended Oak Grove Church of God and served in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II.
On August 16, 1941, he was married to Virginia Freeman in Sikeston. She preceded him in death on January 21, 1987.
Mr. Davis is survived by three sons, Ray Gene Davis of High Ridge, Thomas Joseph Davis of O'Fallon and Lee Wesley Davis of Dubuque, Iowa; one sister, Hazel Huff of Billings, Montana; and one brother, Robert Mason of Pevely.
Besides his wife, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, James R. and Mary Jane Ragan Davis; one sister, Georgia Davis; and three brothers, Edgar Davis, Walter Davis and Cecil Davis.
Visitaion will be May 31 from 5-8 pm at Edwards Funeral Home with the funeral June 1 at 11AM at Edwards Funeral Home with Sister Carolyn Butler. Burial will be at Pine Cemetery in Pine, MO.
