Obituary of Miranda Donnell

Miranda Dawn Donnell, 19 year old resident of Ripley County, Missouri, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Ms. Donnell was born June 14, 1991, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Craig and Angela (Goins) Donnell of Doniphan. She worked at McDonald's in Doniphan and then attended Gateway College. Miranda devoted her life to God and had aspirations of becoming a preacher. She was a member of the West Point Pentecostal Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and was appointed church missionary for Southern Ripley County. She also taught home Bible study at school. Miranda loved the church and deer hunting. She also enjoyed summer evenings at Thunder City Speedway where she worked in concessions. Surviving are her parents; two sisters, Maegan Garlock and Natalie Donnell, both of Doniphan; two nieces, Addyson Garlock and Kahlan Garlock, both of Doniphan; nephew Avery Durr of Doniphan; maternal grandparents Charles and Ozella Goins of Fairdealing; paternal grandparents Landon and Mary Donnell of Doniphan; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011, at West Point Pentecostal Church. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011, at West Point Pentecostal Church with Brother Chuck Carr officiating. Burial will follow at the Price Cemetery.
