Phillip Del Grande, 65, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Del Grande was born November 20, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a mechanic and served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Del Grande enjoyed computers and C.B's where his call was "4 Runner".
On March 18, 1980, he was married to Gloria Lynn Gardner. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are his mother, Virginia Del Grande of Doniphan; three daughters, Christina Sue Daimler and Kimberley Kay Voyles, both of San Diego, California, and Sarah Lynn Abbott of Senath, Missouri; six grandchildren; four sisters, Jackie Butts of Boliver, Tennessee; Terri School of Prairieville, Louisiana, Ginger Del Grande of Doniphan, and Sunnie Kay Taphorn of Birmingham, Alabama; one brother, Jeff Del Grande of Knoxville, Tennessee; and a special friend, Norma Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack E. Del Grande, and one sister, Linae Mabry.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009, from 9:00—10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Father Coon officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
