Carolyn Diane Brannum, 58, of Ripley County died Friday, June 23, 2006, in Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. She was born April 22, 1948, in Pine. She formerly lived in Rockford, Ill., but retired back to Ripley County 10 years ago. She retired as a die mounter with Long View Fiber in Rockford, Ill. She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post # 3486 in Doniphan. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing crafts. She married Warren Brannum on January 1, 1966 in St. Louis. He survives. Survivors include; her father, Calvin Carter of Doniphan; one daughter, Dana Nunez-Rios of Doniphan; one sister, Debbie Pearson of Rockford, Ill.' two half brothers, Darren Carter of Rockford, Ill. and Kevin Carter of Bakersfield.; and two grandchildren, Sylvia and Katalina. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia (Miller) Carter.
