Obituary of Carol Fickert

Carol Ann Fickert, 60, of Neelyville, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at St. Joseph Medical Center in St. Charles, Missouri.
Ms. Fickert was born July 24, 1949, in Butler County, Missouri. She was a lifelong resident of Butler County where she and her husband, Mike, owned and operated Lake View Country Club until 2000. She also owned and operated her own salon in Corning, Arkansas.
On March 20, 1971, she was married to Mike Fickert. He proceeded her in death.
Carol is survived by one son, Ryan Fickert and his wife, Miranda, of Fairdealing, Missouri, and a special friend, Robert Fickert of Lake St. Louis, Missouri. Other survivors include two sisters; Fay Shipman of Derby, Kansas, and Sue Franklin and husband, Bill, of Harviell, Missouri; and one brother, Bill Moore and wife, Grace, of Harviell, Missouri.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2009, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to be in Williams Cemetery, near Corning, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 2081, Memphis, Tennessee 38101-2081. Memorials may also be made at any US Bank to the Carol Fickert St. Jude Memorial account.
