Johnny "John" Duane McLeod, 51, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, November 27, 2009, at his residence in Doniphan.
Mr. McLeod was born June 21, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Sheila Ann (Kenny) McLeod and the late Buel Duane McLeod. He was a kitchen manager at the elementary-junior high school in Doniphan. Mr. McLeod loved to hunt and fish.
On October 4, 1980, he married Ruth Jimenez in Tallulah, Louisiana, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons; Douglas Wayne Mooney Jr. and Daniel Duane McLeod and his wife, Brandy, both of Doniphan; one daughter, Kathy Ann Toles of Doniphan; his mother, Sheila Ann McLeod of Doniphan; two sisters, Dorothy Allen of Oxly and LaDonna Ingram of Doniphan; two brothers, Gary Dale McLeod and David McLeod, both of Doniphan; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Buel Duane McLeod.
Visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2009, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Kenneth Melton officiating. Burial will follow at Towles Cemetery near Doniphan.
