Obituary of Vada Lapar

Vada Lou Lapar, 62, of Grandin, Missouri, died Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Lapar, daughter of the late Dolph and Dorothy (Catlett) Goes, was born April 2, 1947, in Ripley County, Missouri. She enjoyed fishing.
On December 29, 1963, she was married to Edward "Pete" Lapar in Grandin. He survives.
Also surviving are three sisters; Sue Harvey of Grandin, Georgette Tremaine of Briar and Barbara Dremmel of Jasper, Texas; and one brother, Jim Goes of Jadwin, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Della Catlett, and two brothers, Archie Goes and Lonnie Goes.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, November 15, 2009, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Monday, November 16, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Pete Joplin officiating. Burial will follow in Stephens Cemetery.
