Obituary of Lynett Elliott

Lynett Elliott, 50, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Ms. Elliott, daughter of James Leroy and Juanita (Sisco) Elliott, was born January 10, 1961, in Wyatt, Missouri. She was a homemaker. Ms. Elliott loved to read and was a frequent visitor to the Doniphan/Ripley County Public Library. She was a lifetime resident of Doniphan. Surviving are her mother, Juanita Elliott of Doniphan, Missouri; two sisters, Juanita (and Yoseff) Eltabar of Glen Carbon, Illinois, and Shirley (and Charles) Morse of Hendrickson, Missouri; two brothers, Charles (and Carol) Elliott of Colona, Illinois, and Andrew (and Jeanette) Elliott of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and four adopted nieces and nephews which were raised as her brothers and sisters after the death of their mother, Mary Baker; Dusty Thomasson of Grandin, Missouri, Charles Baker of Antigo, Wisconsin, Christina Colley of Orlando, Florida, and James Baker of Doniphan, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, and two sisters, Alpha Haney and Mary Baker. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, June 5, 2011, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to be in the Ponder Cemetery.
