Obituary of William Andrew Cole

William Andrew "Billy" Cole, 67, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, August 9, 2009, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.
Mr. Cole, son of Nolan and Ella (Ross) Cole, was born August 13, 1941, in Malden, Missouri. He was a sawmiller in the timber industry. Mr. Cole enjoyed making knives, working on guns and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
On April 23, 1960, he was married to Bonnie Crook at Parma, Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are three children, Alice Marie Craft of Doniphan, Sheila Jean Stoutt of Hillsboro, Missouri, and Angel Dawn Cole of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Nolan Jr. Cole and Bobby Cole, and one sister, Alvina Sullivan.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Pete Joplin officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery.
