Ronald Lee Ford, Sr., 72, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Sunday, August 2, 2009, at his residence. Mr. Ford was born February 1, 1937, in Lilbourn, Missouri. He retired from General Motors in Marion, Indiana, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and being with his family. On April 12, 1958, he was married to Linda Long at Sikeston, Missouri. She survives. Also surviving are three children, Valarie Anne Deford of Tipton, Indiana, and Teresa Gail Barber and Pamela Carrie Clark, both of Fairdealing; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Rita (Goodwin) Ford, and one son, Ronald Lee Ford, Jr. Visitation will be Thursday evening, August 6, 2009, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Friday morning, August 7, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Michael Phelps officiating. Burial will be at Bloomfield Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
