Harvey L. Harris, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Harris, son of Hershel and Clara (Taber) Harris, was born December 22, 1931.
Surviving are one son, John W. Harris of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sisters; Ruby Campbell of Peoria, Illinois; Brenda Brown of Illinois; two brothers, Leland Harris of Fairfield, Illinois, and Ray Harris, also of Illinois; one grand-daughter, Amanda (and Russell) Blount of Millvill, Utah; and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn Blount and Zachary Blount, both of Millvill, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Dorothy Ulett and Louise Laughard, and one brother, Robert Harris, Sr.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jason Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Bellview Cemetery.
