Bobby Lee Ray, 69 year old resident of Doniphan died Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan. Mr. Ray was born to the late Barney and Ida Shekler Ray on February 13, 1941 in Illinois. Mr. Ray had worked in the timber and he liked to fish.
Surviving are one son David Ray of Doniphan; one daughter, Robbin Brown of Doniphan; 3 step-brothers, Henry, Harold, and Barney all of Michigan. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Including his parents, Mr. Ray was preceded in death by one son Timothy Ray; and two great-grandchildren Harley and Abby.
Funeral services for Mr. Ray will be held Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Brakebill Cemetery in Middlebrook, Arkansas. Visitation for Mr. Ray will begin at 11:00 A.M. Thursday.
