Noreen Marie Wheaton, 60, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Wheaton, daughter of Norris Merrit and Ann Christina (Eberly) Gordon, was born January 23, 1950, in Denver, Colorado. She was a housewife. Mrs. Wheaton had many hobbies including collecting beanie babies, bears, angels, stamps and coins. She enjoyed making jewelry and giving things away. She was a loving wife, step-mother, sister, aunt and friend.
On April 18, 1980, she was married to Preston Charles Wheaton in Wichita, Kansas. He survives.
Also surviving are three step-children; Mary Ann Sisson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Debra Lynn Wheaton of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Preston Charles Wheaton, II of Lincoln, Maine; one brother, Nathan (Darla) Gordon of Doniphan, Missouri; two nephews, Jeremiah (Grace) Gordon of Lynn, Arkansas, and Nicholas (Christina) Gordon of Doniphan, Missouri; one great niece, one great nephew, 17 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 11 AM at the Pine Cemetery with Father Coon officiating.
