Joyce F. Jones, 68, of Doniphan died Thursday July 2, 2009, at Current River Nursing Center. Mrs. Jones was born July 8, 1940 in Newark, DE. To the late John & Sara (Cartwright) Fuller. She was an auto worker for Chrysler. Mrs. Jones moved to Ripley County from Delaware in 1990. She loved to garden enjoyed riding roller coaster and going to the beach and traveling. Mrs. Jones was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Church. She was married to James Jones who preceded her in death. Survivors include one son; John Halsey of Marydel DE and four daughters Carole Thompson of Cheswold DE, Emily Jones of Smyrna DE, Joyce L. Blanchard of Doniphan & Jane Halsey of Alton. Three sisters Carol Zook and Doris Wright both of Elkton MD and Charlotte "Arty" Martin of Wilmington DE. Two brothers David Fuller of PA and Frank Fuller of KS 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Gerry Goad and one brother John Fuller Visitation will be from 1 PM. Wednesday July 8, 2009 at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday July 8, 2009 at the funeral home. Private family burial.
