Joe Ball, 93, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
Mr. Ball, son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mollie (Elkins) Ball, was born March 3, 1916, in Bunny, Arkansas. He was a retired chicken farmer.
On May 15, 1937, he was married to Juanita Van Horn in Bunny, Arkansas, and she preceded him in death on December 21, 2006.
Surviving are one daughter-in-law, Brenda Ball, of Doniphan; two grandsons, Mike Ball of Newark, Ohio, and Terry Ball of Doniphan; one adopted granddaughter, Angie Friend of Doniphan; and several great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ball was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one son, Ray Edward Ball.
