Shirley Jane "Janie" McLeod, 44, of Grandin, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Ms. McLeod was born September 23, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Bill F. and Barbara (Wynn) McLeod. She was a caregiver in Home Health. Janie enjoyed deer hunting, cookouts with the family, driving around the countryside and being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara (Ed) Milburn of Fairdealing; five children, Keith (Melissa) Gambling, Curtis (Jessica) Hilton Stacey Stout and Casey Stout, all of Grandin, Missouri; Samantha (Chris) Hilton of Doniphan; three grandchildren, Hannah Gambling, Ethan Gambling and Kaelyn Hilton; three brothers, Billy (Deb) McLeod, Marty (Judy) McLeod, both of Grandin and Mike (Alesia) McLeod of Maynard, Arkansas; and a special friend, Harold Bridges..
Ms. McLeod was preceded in death by her father, Bill McLeod.
Visitation will be Friday evening, May 22, 2009, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Saturday morning, May 23, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Tim Tipton officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery.
