Rita Jeraldine Wyatt, 81, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Wyatt, daughter of Earl and Mary Alice (Grimm) Perkins, was born May 31, 1929, in Wappapello, Missouri. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wyatt enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, and sewing and attended the Logan Creek Baptist Church.
On May 28, 1949, she was married to O'Kelly Turner Wyatt at Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2008.
Surviving are four children; Dewayne Patrick Wyatt and Mary Alice Wyatt, both of Fairdealing, Missouri; Kelly "Jason" Wyatt of Bloomfield, Missouri, and Judy Foulks of Doniphan, Missouri; two brothers, Loren Perkins of Boise, Idaho, and Bob Perkins of Wappapello, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Bud Wayne Wyatt, and two grandchildren, Bud Wayne Wyatt II and Janson Ryan Wyatt.
Visitation for Mrs. Wyatt will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Curtis Crowley officiating. Burial will be in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
