Obituary of Katie Taylor

Katie Denise Taylor, 25, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Ms. Taylor was born June 20, 1983, in Poplar Buff, Missouri, to Earl and Connie (Reagan) Taylor of Doniphan. She was employed at Peoples Community State Bank in Doniphan as a bank teller/account representative. Katie enjoyed working with the Angel Tree, Toys for Tots and the Relay for Life programs. A 2001 Doniphan High School graduate, she attended Three Rivers Community College and Williams Baptist College. Katie especially loved her dogs. Surviving are her parents, one brother, Jarrod Taylor, of Doniphan, her boyfriend, Chanse Smith, of Doniphan, her maternal grandfather, Joe Reagan, of Fairdealing, Missouri, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Beverly Reagan, and her paternal grandparents, Buster and Ruth Taylor. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon, March 25, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Hubert Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery.
