Patricia Collene Biggs, 70, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the River Oaks Care Center in Steele, Missouri.
Mrs. Biggs, daughter of Ralph and Flossie (Collins) Sherrill, was born August 4, 1940, in Sikeston, Missouri. She was a grounds supervisor with the U.S. Forest Service.
On September 5, 2005, she was married to Howard Biggs at Pocahontas, Arkansas. He survives.
Also surviving are three children: Linda Phillips (and Dennis) of Hayti, Missouri, Michael Hedge (and Karla) of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Donald Hedge of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Sean Hedge (and Amanda) and Andrea (Phillips) Jones (and Brandon); three great-grandchildren, Logan Hedge, Kayla Phillips and Kristen Phillips; three sisters, Joan Allen of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Barbara Wyman of Essex, Missouri, and Cindy Brooks of Conway, Arkansas; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sandra Sue Sherrill, and one grandson, Dennis Lee Phillips, Jr.
Visitation will be Thursday morning, May 19, 2011, from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Bloomfield Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
