Billy Eugene Brooks, 69, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, February 16, 2009, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.
Mr. Brooks was born August 10, 1939, in Ripley County, Missouri, to the late Arthur and Clytie (Jones) Brooks. He had been a sawmill worker in the timber industry and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler.
He is survived by one sister, Christine Skipper of St. Charles, Missouri, and one brother, James Brooks of Doniphan.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Brooks.
A memorial service will be held Thursday morning, February 19, 2009, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan with Pastor Larry Bashaw officiating.
