Clarence Ritchey, 62, of Grandin, Missouri, died Saturday, February 14, 2009, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mr. Ritchey was born August 29, 1946, in Grandin. He was owner/operator of a vault company and was a Mason Shriner. He was married to Pat Ritchey on February 27, 1965 in Grandin. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2005. On May 26, 2007, he was married to Sherry Harmon in Carter County, Missouri, and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Carla Ritchey of Grandin; one step-son, Ryan Harmon of Bloomfield, Missouri; one step-daughter, Stephanie (and Jordan) Freeman of Zalma, Missouri; six sisters, Sarah King of Grandin, Yvonne Vance of Morton, Illinois, Cathy Brown, Naomi Wells and Phyllis Adams, all of Ellsinore, Missouri, and Ruby Johnson of Doniphan, Missouri; three brothers, Cecil Ritchey and Curly Ritchey, both of Grandin and John Ritchey of Forrest City, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Misty (and Ramon), Mandi (and Chris), Rustie, Clarence III "Augie", David, Hayle and Kayle; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Ritchey was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Delma (Dildine) Ritchey; two sons, Russell Ritchey and Clarence Ritchey, Jr.; three sisters, Margzetta Brown, Mary Hackey and Sheila Ritchey; and three brothers, James Ritchey, Westley Ritchey and Arthur "Corkey" Ritchey. Visitation will be Monday evening, February 16, 2009, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday morning, February 17, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother James Bowlin and Brother Tim Tipton officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandin City Cemetery.
