Will Tucker, 95 year old resident of the Tucker Community, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Tucker was born December 14, 1913 in Tucker, and had been a lifelong resident of Tucker. He was a self-employed merchant operating the Tucker General Store. He was also a member of the Tucker Methodist Church.
On October 18, 1937, in Tucker, he was married to Delsie McCamey, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Curtis, Cleatus, and Raymond Tucker, all of Tucker. Surviving also are five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Tucker will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Allen Coats will officiate. Burial will be in the Tucker Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Tucker will be Tuesday, February 17 from 5-8 P.M.
