James William "Jim" Eddens, 76, of Fairdealing, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015, at his residence in rural Ripley County, Missouri.
Mr. Eddens, son of Paul and Mae (Jackson) Eddens, was born March 21, 1939, in Stoddard County, Missouri. He was a self-employed farmer. Mr. Eddens attended River Valley Community Church.
On December 11, 1981, he was married to Vicky Prince and she survives.
Also surviving are 1 daughter, Debbie Perren of Wichita, Kansas; 1 son, John Eddens of Fairdealing; 4 sisters, Diane Abernathy of Fairdealing, Wanda Barker of Maynard, Arkansas, Sue Dent of Wappapello, Missouri, and Carolyn Putman of Pocahontas, Arkansas; 1 brother, Bernard Eddens of Imboden, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday afternoon, September 2, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at River Valley Community Church.
