Irven Ronald "Ron" Yarber, 72, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Southeast Health Center of Ripley County in Doniphan.
Mr. Yarber, son of Irven and Margaret (Jenkins) Yarber, was born April 6, 1943, in Doniphan. Prior to retirement, he had driven a gas truck for Pierce Petroleum Company. Mr. Yarber was a member of the Masonic Lodge Composite #369 and Eastern Star and was a former member of the Missouri National Guard in Doniphan.
On September 28, 2010, he was married to Barbara McKenzie and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Keith (and Lisa) Yarber of Mountain View, Missouri, and Kenneth (and Julie) Yarber of Eminence, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Maria Yarber of San Antonio, Texas; 5 brothers, Calvin Williams of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Leonard Williams of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Herbert Williams of Adairsville, Georgia, Donald Yarber of Gatewood, Missouri, and Thomas Yarber of New London, Iowa; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Luke Yarber (March 17, 2015).
Visitation will begin at noon Monday, August 3, 2015, in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother David Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in the New Home Cemetery.
A Masonic Service is planned.
