Katie Marvine Spratt, 72, of Wappapello, Missouri, died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at her residence.
Ms. Spratt, daughter of Eddie Lee and Ethel (Ratliff) Davis, was born October 2, 1942, in Smithville, Arkansas. She had worked in the automotive industry. Ms. Spratt enjoyed working at the Food Pantry in Wappapello and watching television, especially Wheel of Fortune and Judge Judy. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Barry Hartzell of Wappapello; 3 sisters, Jessie West of Crystal City, Missouri, Janet Kelly of Jerald, Missouri, and Karen Williamson of Doniphan, Missouri; 1 brother, James Edward Davis of Farmington, Missouri; 2 grandchildren, Samantha Hartzell and Stephanie Brannum; and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Dale Davis, Helen West and Doris Sisco.
Visitation will take place Saturday evening, July 11, 2015, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Sunday afternoon, July 12, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Chuck Carr officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
